Taylor has deep musical roots that run through generations of his family. In a household where music was a way of life, he was exposed to everything from classic rock to soulful ballads, and it didn’t take long for him to pick up his first instrument and start writing his own songs. He auditioned for American Idol as a teenager, where he impressed judges and made it through Hollywood Week.
