From the borderlands of New York and New Jersey, Taylor Van Cleave crafts lyric-driven indie folk with roots in the melodic traditions of the late ’60s. His songs blend satire with unconventional love songs, exploring numbness, desperation, and the quiet absurdities of the human experience.

Taylor grew up in a musical family where music was a way of life, inspiring him to pick up his first instrument and begin writing songs at a young age. As a teenager he auditioned for American Idol, impressing the judges and making it through Hollywood Week. Today, he continues to share his voice and vision through honest, soul-searching songwriting.
